More Cool Things...
Google is awesome. They may eventually take over the world, and when they do, rest assured that I'll fight alongside the other rebels to take down the evil giant and regain our freedom. But until that time comes you really should take a look at some of the stuff brewing in Google Labs. Or, if you need more guidance than that, check out Chrome Experiments, which basically consists of a collection of small projects done by programmers working with the Chrome API. There's one called Browser Pong which lets you play pong with actual browser windows. There are some useful experiments, but most are just fun and silliness.
Feed
I forgot to mention this in my first post but another part of my inspiration to start a blog (apart from the usefulness for future jobs) was a book I read called "Feed" by Mira Grant. It takes place in a world where bloggers have become the dominant source of news...and there are zombies. It's unusual because there are zombies, but it's not quite post-apocalyptic, because there's still civilization....in fact, the story takes place while two bloggers are following a presidential campaign around the country. But anyways, it's very good, so if reading's your thing, you should check it out. And because I'm big on visual aids, here's a nifty picture of the cover, with a link to the Amazon site so you can read a real description.
